Cozy Creekside Cabin in the Catskills

A cozy classic cabin located 5 mins from Phoenicia and 15 mins from Hunter Mountain. Close to shops, restaurants, bars, and mountain activities like hiking, yoga, skiing, or floating down the Esopus Creek in an intertube. It's close enough to amenities so you won't feel isolated but far enough to enjoy the pristine quiet of the mountains. Located on a 3/4 acre lot next to Stony Clove Creek, the cabin offers everything needed for a true escape from the city. *not suitable for children. The space The space is eclectically decorated to make you feel like you're in a true mountain cabin but with some modern twists. The sheets are 100% cotton 400 thread count. We have, down, synthetic down, and memory foam pillows on the beds. Two of each so everyone gets their favorite. Your bed will have you wanting to sleep in! The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking and baking needs. Spices and common condiments are usually stocked as well. We are coffee lovers so we have a Chemex, a pour over, a french press , and your basic coffee maker. How ever you choose to brew is up to you! There is one private bedroom with queen bed and a loft with a double bed. The loft is accessible by a permanent ladder (see photos) but there is no door so it’s somewhat open to the main living area. Please note that there may be light Christmas decor set up between Thanksgiving and just after the New Year. There are guidebooks and maps in the cabin to help to plan hikes or activities. Other things to note We allow small dogs (under 20lbs) on a case by case basis plus a $100 additional fee which is charged via Airbnb after your stay if there is obvious evidence of your dog being there. E.g. dog hair on furniture. If there is ANY hair on the bedding or furniture this fee will be charged. Please just keep you pet off the bed and furniture. There is no cell service until you get on the WiFi so put the address into your gps ahead to time. Absolutely no smoking indoors. Absolutely no parties. Sleeping arrangements— One private bedroom. One semi-open loft. If there is a snow storm the driveway will be likely be plowed before the guests arrive but you may need to shovel the front steps. We try to have this taken care of before you arrive but depending on the severity of snowfall it may not be possible or what was shoveled may be snowed over. The snow shovel is usually next to the back door or leaning against the house by the front door. Welcome to the mountains!
