Barefoot Bungalow

This is a newly remodeled ground floor mother-in-law suite located on the beach side of Hwy 98 on the West end of Mexico Beach. The unit has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 bathroom, and two built in bunks. Access to the bathroom is inside the bedroom. It also has a small kitchen open to the living area. There is a gas grill, table, umbrella, and lounge chairs for your enjoyment in the enclosed courtyard. You may run into me outside gardening and such. *NOT BEACHFRONT! The space No pets, please. The pool next door is on private property, and not for guest use. However, the beach is approximately 100 yards from your doorstep with the Gulf of Mexico waiting for you to take a dip. There are no lifeguards on duty! Please note for safety that the home is not childproof. I've had many children visit with no issues. I can provide a pack and play upon request. Mexico Beach will be in the rebuilding process for years to come, but many of our businesses are already back. Caribbean Coffee and Shipwreck are open for breakfast. Killer seafood is operating in full swing at their original location with an impressive new food truck, and covered outdoor seating. Mango Marleys has reopened. Numerous food trucks in Mexico Beach serve pretty amazing food. Port St Joe restaurants and shops are all open except for the ones that were waterfront. The liquor store and grocery store are open on 15th Street. Fishing charters are widely available, and there are numerous day trip attractions within a short drive. Beach equipment is provided for your convenience. It includes chairs, umbrella, cooler, dry box, beach cart, and beach towels.
