This charming, semi-private cottage, set in a quiet country location is perfect for your next getaway. Small kitchenette with sink, fridge and microwave provides you with kitchen basics. PLEASE NOTE: there is no stove/oven in this room. Bathroom is equipped with all the necessities plus extras like a two person shower with rain fall shower head. Outside is a 2-3 person hot tub along with a beautiful pergola with string lights and adirondack chairs. The Cottage has all the basics plus amazing extras that you need for your stay. Soap, shampoo, Keurig coffee with several options of coffees, hot chocolate, tea and some amazing locally grown microwave popcorn that is famous in our area. The hot tub is a great luxury that gives you something extra to look forward to at the end of your day. The Cottage also houses two of the famed antique Herman Miller chairs that were left here on the property when we purchased it. I have restored them and placed them in The Cottage for their comfort and mid-century modern appeal. Also in room, is a cute, comfy love seat with floor pouf ottoman. We've also included a small, sleek computer table that is folded up and out of the way unless you choose to use it. Its a great option for any time needing to be spent on your laptop or even if you just need a little extra surface space for food/drinks, etc. If you choose to use the firepit just outside we have plenty of dried wood along with firestarters and lighters. There are marshmallow roasters available upon request. Property is equipped with a Generac generator in case of power outage from storms, etc. Our family lives in a home just across the lane from the Cottage. We are available should you need anything during your stay. We enjoy hosting, especially on the weekends. If anything is needed I'm most often here so please reach out and I will do all I can to make your stay perfect. Our cottage is located in the country. We live on a fairly busy country road, but with the driveway being so long it makes it feel remote and quiet. We have Amish neighbors so you will likely come upon horse drawn buggies, etc. No public transportation available nearby The Wi-fi is exceptional for rural areas and you should have no problem streaming movies or anything else you'd like to do during your stay. ** No smoking please. Outside away from windows and doors is fine, but please dispose of cigarette butts properly.
