Tucson Vintage Bungalow in Historic District.
Tucson Vintage Bungalow in Historic District.
Description
Beautifully updated vintage bungalow in historic Armory Park is the perfect home base for the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show/El Tour/UA graduation. Fresh and uncluttered, it's situated on a quiet street with 2 parking spaces. Minutes walk from downtown, the house has a bygone era feel, featuring Mexican saltillo tile/penny flooring, and tasteful decor. There are 3 airy bedrooms, two with queen size beds and a newly renovated one with a twin. We are proud of our new private backyard seating area! The space With a recently rehabbed third bedroom painstakingly finished in venetian plaster and a bathroom with gorgeous Mexican hand painted tiled shower and an inlaid penny floor, I have not scrimped on the details. Full sized kitchen has a quartz countertop and new appliances including a dishwasher, 2.0 cubic ft. microwave oven, large refrigerator stocked with bottled water, Smeg italian coffee maker with matching electric kettle and coffee grinder, and fully refurbished 1943 vintage gas stove/oven with broiler. Also available is an equipped laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, and a gas grill located in the completely private backyard. I just installed a new central air conditioning and heating system in December of 2019. Living area has a leather couch, 50" flat screen tv with Apple TV, Apple One, and Apple Arcade (controller included), working record player in a console with fantastic sound, and a new, beautiful upright Yamaha piano that is kept tuned. The house has strong (25Mbps download speed), and consistent mesh technology WiFi from a local internet provider. Just scan the QR Code to join! I can provide a baby monitor, Pack n' Play, high chair, eating utensils, and some books and toys upon request for guests with babies/small toddlers. Guest health, safety and comfort are important to me. You'll be staying in a clean, sanitized home, which I personally attend to, and extra cleaning supplies are provided so guests can clean if needed during their stay. I've always had a three-day booking gap between guests, and during that time I focus on thorough cleaning and sanitizing with safe, EPA-registered disinfectants. As a finishing touch, all surfaces are re-sanitized after the house has been thoroughly cleaned. Guest access I have a cycling room with bike hooks and pump available for those who are entered in El Tour de Tucson or are avid cyclists. * Bikes, helmets and gear not included. Other things to note A lot of effort was put into chroming the vintage stove. Please do not use the stovetop as a cutting surface or use the griddle.
