Seahorse Cottage

Just a short walk from the water (2 min, NOT lakefront, side street). Crystal lake is 5.3 miles. There is an access site you can anchor a boat at for the day (anchor, no dock or land, but you can anchor in the water and walk back to the cottage), the beach is 1/2 mile away, and raceway is 1 mile away. The large double lot sometimes has guests in a camper on the 2nd lot and a shared firepit. Golfcarts are allowed. VALID PHOTO ID and phone number will be required immediately after booking. The space There's a large camper for rent on the 2nd lot that sleeps 8. if you're looking for a family reunion, you could sleep 14 total with the cottage and camper. (wifi and firestick). There's a wagon in the shed and coolers to use for the boat or beach. You have the entire cottage to yourself with a nice size yard and fire pit. Sometimes there's guests in a camper on the second lot next to the cottage and they will share the fire pit with you. If available, the camper also rents and can sleep 8 people. HOUSE MUST BE LEFT IN THE SAME CONDITION AS WHEN YOU ARRIVED! -The cleaning fee is small, because it's only for sanitizing and some laundry. It only covers up to 1.5 hours of cleaning. THE HOUSE MUST be left in the same neat and clean condition as on arrival. The cleaning fee is for mopping, sanitizing, finishing laundry and making beds. • If something is broken, please let me know as soon as possible so I have time to replace it before the next guest arrives -No smoking in the house (outside only) • If you light off fireworks or have drinks outside please clean the yard up • There's a wagon and coolers in the shed. You're welcome to use them. I do have an access site you can put the boat in at, but no land or dock. Many people anchor their boat in the water for the day and walk back up to the cottage. • I understand people want to party and have fun, and by all means do so, please just be respectful to my property as you do it. I want everyone to have fun, drink and enjoy the party life that Crystal has to offer. • There's a fire stick for the TV. -There's extra bedding and pillows, along with a gel mattress top in the bedroom closet for the sofa bed and chair. If you do need to turn the heat on, it's self explanatory on wall. • There's a nice grocery store just down the road, Blanchard’s. There's a Family Dollar at the end of the street. There's pizza and ice cream that's not even a half mile away. The beach is only a half mile away and there are a couple bars with good food. There's an awesome old movie theater up the hill and a very cool old roller rink on the other side of the lake. Golf cart and boat rentals are listed. Please note: The well water is hard water. There is a water softener,but you can still smell hard water. Also it's a cottage and near water, so there will be spiders! Guest access There's a drive and extra parking in the front yard. Guests have the entire cottage to themselves and everything is always, clean, sanitized and bleached. It is Michigan near a lake, so there are bugs, spiders and mosquitoes you will want to be prepared for. There's a tv and DVD player. There's also a firestick with Amazon and Netflix on it to use. Although, there's no smoking in the house, there's a nice porch and yard area where you can smoke. There's a nice camper available for rent on the 2nd lot that can also sleep 8 people. Ask host for information. Other things to note There's a tv and DVD player with a variety of DVDs. There is also a fire stick and Roku with Amazon and free apps on there. There is a water access site just around the corner that you can anchor a boat at for the day or swim. ANCHOR FOR THE DAY ONLY. YOU CAN'T PARK or LEAVE ITEMS on land. it's deeded lake access only, not rights to any property or dock. I can get you a number for pontoon and boat rental. NOTE: Crystal has hard water and even with a water softener it will still have the sulfate (egg) smell. The water is great, but some don't like the smell of hard water.
