The Ramblewood. Family Friendly.

We sanitize and clean all surfaces regularly. The Ramblewood is a wonderful place to get together for a reunion or for a small group gathering. The Ramblewood has a large yard and with 3 porches there is plenty of space for everyone. We have added a new deck out the back door with great western exposure. We have installed a new hardwood floor and base cabinets in the kitchen. The tap water is exceptional. Our well is over 600 feet deep. You can drink the water from the tap and it's great. The space The Ramblewood is professionally cleaned and sanitized between each rental. If you are looking to get away from crowds, The Ramblewood is the place for you. Pristine, wide open spaces await you. We do not allow events or gatherings of more than 16 people. Beautiful authentic Adirondack summer house, now open for year round use. Enjoy our beach access on wonderful Loon Lake located a short walk or drive from the house, there is a canoe provided for your use. 20 minutes to great skiing at Gore Mountain. Easy access, only 4 miles to the interstate. Snowshoe/cross country ski right from the door. Close to shopping, hiking, skiing, swimming, boating. TV, well equipped kitchen, with a new gas range with a convection oven and a charcoal grill , comfortably furnished, plenty of parking, washer/dryer, microwave, library. 5 large guest rooms and a bonus room. Room # 1, one queen, room #2 one double, room #3 one queen, room #4 is the bonus room for kids to play. There are books and toys for children. Room #5 one queen, room #6 one queen and one twin. Three bathrooms, one downstairs. One bathroom has a tub/shower combo, the other two have showers only. Spacious rooms for gathering. Two propane fireplaces. Bring your own bathroom towels and bed sheets. We provide pillowcases, blankets, pillows, kitchen towels and bathmats. Several restaurants nearby, two within one mile. Outdoor fire-pit Dock/beach Free skiing, sliding and skating at Chestertown recreation site, 2 miles away. Dynamite Hill! Guest access The Ramblewood is available for up to 12 people. Cleaning fee is set by the number of people and by the number of nights. Other things to note We have instituted a new linen policy. We will provide sheets and pillow cases for $10/bed and $2.50/bath towel with a total of 2 bath towels per guest. This fee will need to be paid separately. We do provide dish towels, bathmats, pillows and blankets which is included in the rental fee.
