Mikarma Farm in the woods at Olympic National Park

Secluded, comfortable and welcoming 3 bedroom, 1 bath guest house set in the woods on a bluff above the Strait. Horses, birds, deer and other wildlife - just lovely! 15 minutes to Port Angeles, 20 minutes to Lake Crescent and Olympic National Park. Attached to main house but has a private entrance. Well-equipped kitchenette but no stove. Bedroom 1: queen bed and full-sized futon plus seating and dining area. Bedroom 2: twin beds. Bedroom 3: full-sized bed. Please, no children under 12. The space Airy and comfortable space set in the woods on a bluff above the Strait of Juan de Fuca. We share our 5 acres with 4 elderly horses and 2 Turkish Kangal livestock guardian dogs plus an incredible number and variety of birds and other wildlife. Great place for birders! Lots of wild berries as well as fruit trees and a garden. Fruit and produce might be available in season. We are reclaiming the gardens after years of neglect by previous owners so they are colorful but far from weed free. Picnic table in a side yard and Adirondack chairs for use of guests. Ocean view is blocked by trees on the property but the view in the neighborhood is stunning and ocean breezes bring the smell and sound of the sea. The suite is less than 5 minutes from a sandy beach at the Beach Lake Conservation Area and 20 minutes from the gorgeous beach at Salt Creek Recreation Area. It's also just a couple of miles from the Olympic Discovery Trail. Lake Crescent, Madison Falls and other Olympic National Park attractions are a 20 minute drive. There's no television in the suite but there’s wi-fi. There will be some barking from the dogs but overall it is a quiet and private place. No children under 12, please. Guest access The guest suite has its own entrance. There is no access to the kitchen or other parts of the house except that use of the washer and dryer can be arranged by request.
