Our home is in a beautiful, quiet, natural setting that guests love. Great views of the lak and SF Bay from main floor. We redid garden this year. Fast wifi. Why stay in a hotel when you can have all this space? Only 10 minutes to freeways and Redwood City. Kitchen & bathrooms remodeled in 2017. Large, bright rooms with high ceilings. You have to climb stairs to the front door, house is 70 yrs old, and you'll see our stuff in the rooms. But, if you're good with all that, you'll be happy! The space Fantastic views in a sunlit, spacious, open-plan hillside home. Fast wifi (>700 Mbps). High ceilings, large rooms. Lots of outdoor decks. Gourmet kitchen and bathrooms upstairs were remodeled in 2017. It's a really quiet neighborhood, yet you're only 10 minutes from the freeways and downtown Redwood City. It's 20 minutes to Stanford and 40 minutes to SF, so still convenient if you're working in Silicon Valley or the city. It's 60 steps up from the street but worth the climb :) It's also an old house so things can break, and not everything is perfectly straight and level. We try to keep everything clean but as the house is in such a natural setting, you may encounter spiders and webs (especially in the spring). We have dogs so no matter what we do, there are some dog hairs somewhere. It's not a place for those seeking perfection, or who are averse to nature, or who aren't able to easily climb stairs, but most guests seem to love it. Guest access You'll stay either in the master suite downstairs or my daughter's room upstairs. You'll have access to the kitchen, laundry, great room, bathrooms, TV room, and outdoor areas. My son's bedroom will be closed.
