The space Raven House: Simple Elegance in the Desert ✨ Raven House is a historic yet modernized 1950s homestead cabin designed for both romance and retreat. Simple, elegant, and spacious, the home is filled with natural light from large windows—one framing a direct view into Joshua Tree National Park. Inside, comfort is a priority: mini-split AC/heat, additional fans and heaters, a cozy fireplace, and a new premium bed (2025). A love seat converts to a twin bed for extra sleeping space. A shared washer/dryer is just steps away. The fully equipped kitchen features new appliances, multiple coffee makers, a blender, a toaster, a microwave, a slow cooker, and a well-stocked pantry with a variety of spices, teas, condiments, and high-quality knives—ideal for cooking at home. Outdoors, you’ll find: Hot tub on the back patio Two outdoor soaking tubs on the yoga deck Hammock for stargazing or naps Fire pit for desert nights Sculpture by artist Steve Rieman Five peaceful acres with gardens in progress While Raven House feels private and serene, it’s part of a neighborhood—close to galleries, restaurants, shops, and gas stations—making it the perfect desert getaway for both solitude and convenience. Everything is designed with comfort, beauty, and sustainability in mind, ensuring your stay is both memorable and restorative. Guest access Guest Access Guests have full access to everything in Raven House, including the outdoor amenities, such as the hot tub, hammock, yoga deck, and outdoor bathtubs. The laundry room is shared with me, as I use it regularly for Raven House linens. Please let me know when you’d like to use it—I’ll make sure it’s available and sanitized for you. You’re also welcome to walk the property at any time and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings. Other things to note Getting There & Parking Raven House is located on a dirt road, which can be a little rough on cars. Drive slowly, and you’ll be fine. Please also be aware of fast drivers when entering or leaving the property. When turning onto Calle Los Amigos from Sunburst, keep to the right and proceed carefully. Just outside the guest gate, there is a water meter in the ground—swing wide to avoid it. Once inside, Raven House is on the right (Magnolia House is on the left). There is plenty of parking space close to the house for your convenience. Registration details CESTRP-2020-00349
