Quiet lake property with a Northern Minnesota feel, yet very close to Minneapolis (18 miles), St. Paul (13 miles) and Stillwater (7 miles). 5 bedroom 3.5 bath with 4 patios (2 lakeside), lakeside gazebo and 250+ feet of sand shore. Lake is A rated for clarity and one of the best bass lakes in Minnesota. Large deck and patios overlooking the lake. Indoors we have two family rooms, large dining room, kitchen. This listing has its own bathroom w/ open handicap shower Our property is Licensed by the City as an AIRBNB for short term rentals. Please note that since we are on a lake that the guest cannot bring any extra persons without them being registered at the time of the reservation. This is a terms of service rule by AIRBNB and also our house rules. So please identify all guests, even if it is for only a day, that will be at the property. Please note that AIRBNB will not cover us for insurance for unregistered guests. We do rent kayaks, canoes and paddle boards for a fee on a First Come First Served Basis (FCFS). If your reservation is for 2 days or more, we throw in one free hour of rental or $10 credit. It is $10 for each item for the first hour ($20 for the two person Kayaks). $5 per hour for the next 2 hours to a maximum of $20 ($30) per day for each item. This money is donated to Mn Public Radio. There are 6 kayaks (1 child and 2 two person), 2 - 17 foot canoes, 2 adult paddleboards. (FCFS) The outside gardens and lakeside are available to all guests. The kitchen and Washing machine are available with pre-permission since this is a multi unit property. We have 4 different grills for guests outside. We also have a portable induction stove top for use outside. There is a guest refrigerator in the lower level. If you need additional refrigerated space or pantry space please let us know before your arrival so we can make room. We are available when needed since we live on the property. My cell phone is given to you when you check-in. This is a residential area with large Lakeside homes. 1/3 of the lake front is undeveloped and is church property that is in its natural state. This is a quiet lake close to Stillwater, MN and not far from Minneapolis and St. Paul. Easy access to the Interstate Hwy system. Why drive hours UP-NORTH when you have a quiet getaway in the metro area.
