Situated in the heart of the Peak District, Coombs Dale View is a cosy renovated annex with amazing views. The accommodation includes a fully equipped open-plan kitchen (with dishwasher), living area, plus double bedroom and separate shower/WC. Cleaning/heating included. This property is at the very top of the steepest 'high street' in the UK, and is a nature-lover's and walker's paradise; however it can feel fairly remote. If you want to be near a shop or busy town, please look elsewhere! The space Totally self-contained and very cosy annex, recently renovated to a modern standard. Parking is private (behind gates to the main property) and on the doorstep (see pictures), allowing very easy packing and unpacking. Small entry hallway to hang coats. Comfortable open plan kitchen/living area. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and even washing machine. Dining table and chairs. Living area with comfortable sofa, coffee table, HD smart TV (apps installed). Large glazed south facing doors onto garden with wonderful views over the valleys. High speed Wifi. Separate double bedroom with views over to Curbar, Froggatt and Baslow edges. Wardrobe and bedside tables. Shower room/WC with newly installed suite and shower, dimmable LED mirror. The garden is shared with the host's main property, although you will have a large section of it to yourselves. There are two small patios for you to use. Our small fluffy dog will probably come and say hello. Please do not book if you are nervous of dogs - she is extremely gentle and popular with guests but sometimes has barks at new arrivals! Guest access Allocated parking space directly outside the annex. The garden is shared but in practice guests will enjoy the (significant) lawned area next to the annex (see pictures) to themselves as the owners have a separate garden. Our dog will probably come and say hello but she is extremely gentle. Other things to note As you can see by the feedback left, the vast majority of people truly enjoy the amazing location of this place, its tranquil nature and the fact that it is cosy with a well equipped kitchen. People who have enjoyed it less include those who want to stay in a town or village (we are on the very edge of a village), people who don't like hills (we are near the top of the hill!), people who don't like dogs (we have a dog!), and people who are expecting hotel-like services (it is self-contained and self-catering accommodation).
