Description
Family Friendly home for 8 - 10 amongst paddocks and bushland. Pool, playground and new outdoor area - perfect for families and groups. Relax around the property or make the most of the natural attractions the area has to offer Inside features a modern kitchen, open plan living with fireplace, beds made with quality linens and full bathroom. Outside, watch wildlife from the balconies, stroll through garden paths, explore the bush or creek and enjoy the natural surrounds. Pet friendly! The space This listing is for a private house on the property. Guest access The house has a private position on the property. Guests will have access to the entire homestead including all living areas a bathroom, kitchen, laundry and queen bedrooms. Depending on the size of the booking more bedrooms will be made available with coded locks for guests to use. Please also note the two queen rooms are accessed via a side balcony off the house. This allows for beautiful views out over the valley and nice privacy in the bedrooms, but for guests staying with young children in the bunk room, you may feel like you are a long way away. There is a large king day bed in the lounge next to the bunk room. this may be a preferable sleeping area for parents with young children. Other things to note There are children's toys, puzzles, games, chess etc at the house. Feel free to help yourself to herbs, fruit and citrus in the garden. The garden is really fun to potter around in, with lots of bird and insect life to watch and enjoy. There are cows and their babies in the paddocks, go say hi! The Guinea Fowls live around the house and are awesome, weird creatures. There is food in a red container in the woodshed. Feel free to give them a scoop each day you are there… In fact they will harass you for it in the morning! You can get close to the fowls, but they won’t let you pat them. We call them Patty and Selma, though we are pretty sure they are dudes. :) There are Pretty Face Wallabies, Potaroo’s, frogs, possums, reptiles, lots of different birds and a world of insects that like to hang around the garden and paddocks. Hopefully you will spot some during your stay. There is a basic bread maker and some simple ingredients here for you to use to make a loaf of bread or two during your stay. If its hot you can have a swim down at the creek, which is on the boundary of our property. Across the road next to the big painted sheds. There is a sunset viewing platform up in the paddocks, we can explain where it is once you are booked. It's a rewarding treasure hunt to find. Registration Details PID-STRA-34999
