We are local Nashvillians who for over 35 years have hosted students, artists, musicians and songwriters in our Historic Music Row home, Songbird House. Our upstairs apt, the Songbird Spot, is steps from Belmont University, moments to Vanderbilt, minutes to downtown, 1.5 miles from the convention center and in walking distance to 12 South, Downtown, Edgehill, Hillsboro Village and more, you won't find a better spot in all of Nashville! Our Songbird Spot is a top floor one bedroom apartment, with stunning, high end finishes. Sip a glass of wine on our front porch and watch the sunset while listening to the guitars play down the road! Our lux space has a queen size bed and two full size/double sofa beds and newly renovated full bathroom. Our 2 TVs are equipped with a Roku and steaming services, brand new lux bedding and pillows and plenty of outdoor space downstairs to be comfortable watching the sunset. Amazing full kitchen with microwave oven, brand new dishwasher, cook top and luxury coffee, with granite breakfast bar. These updated kitchen amenities and a renovated bathroom - along with professional, stylishly decorated spaces... you will never want to leave! We have other short term rental units on there property so you may see other guests. Every unit has their own, private entrance, bathroom, kitchen and more. The only shared spaces are the front porch and the parking lot. - One on site off street parking spot -Washer dryer in building (please note you will need to coordinate with us about the schedule for the washer dryer to insure our cleaning crew isn't using it)- Free wifi, lux bath amenities - Call an Uber and in minutes you'll be at the world famous Bluebird Cafe, home to Nashville's songwriting community. (note - please read how to obtain tickets before your arrival if interested in the Bluebird. Reservations required) - Free Kurig coffee and teas - Our adjoining blocks contain historic Music Row. Walk to catch a tour at Studio B, where Dolly Parton recorded "Jolene" and Elvis sang many of his top hits. - Local Nashvillian Reece Witherspoon's flagship Drapper James store is in the adjoining neighborhood of 12 South. We often see stars from the show Nashville at Bar Taco. - World Famous singer Jeannie C. Riley used to live in the house! You are able to use the entire apartment and the shared front porch. You also have one parking spot in the back lot. We are available 24/7 to answer any questions or requests. We live just down the road if anything comes up.We will send you suggestions and tips before your arrival. Our co-host and I will be available to ask any questions before, during and after your trip and we live right down the street! Upon booking you will receive extensive local tips about our Music Row neighborhood, hidden Nashville gems and all the best restaurants in town. Historic Music Row is the best part of Nashville! With working music studios and nestled between Vanderbilt University and Belmont University, you can't find a better spot. For less than $10 and less then 10 min, be downtown! Or, on a nice day, go on a great walk. Just a few blocks away are tons of bars and restaurants in the walkable neighborhoods of Edgehill, 12 South, Hillsboro Village and the Gulch! Uber and lift is plentiful and affordable. Many locations are a short walk away. We have off street parking as well. We prepare walking maps for your use as well of our favorite spots.
