Relaxing and playful ranch in Decatur

***POOL WILL BE CLOSED for winter season and reopen in April*** Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. This is our family home and we have renovated it from the studs so that every thing is specifically designed to have personality, functionality, and style. Conveniently located to Downtown Decatur, I-285, Emory, Agnes Scott, Stone Mountain Park, and still situated in a quiet kid friendly neighborhood where families walk their dogs. The space This is our favorite place to be, but we like to share it with others when we travel :). The house is a brick ranch that was fully renovated in 2020 and our projects to make the house more fun and interesting and a place we want to be are always ongoing! Three of our four bedrooms are available for guest use and each room is designed with comfort and whimsy in mind. The owners suite comes with a private screened in porch and en suite bathroom as well as a tv with all our streaming services. The living room has a large leather sectional with soft pillows and blankets for guests to relax and watch movies. Our dining table seats six and there is an additional dining area just off the interior dining space on the covered screened porch. The back screened porch acts as a second living room, playroom, dining room, and spa for us! We have sunken a heated stock tank pool in the deck, have furnished the outdoor living room with a large Roku tv so that guests can enjoy being outside with all the comforts of home. Guests also have access to our firepit area, charcoal grill, in ground trampoline (weight limit 275lbs), and zip line (weight limit 275lbs). We encourage our guests of all ages to play and be silly. Adults are welcome to play on our large, steel seesaw on the front patio. Children must be supervised using the seesaw and at all times around the stocktank pool. Please see our liability waiver. Screen doors and back door can be locked to ensure the pool area is secured when adults are not in the pool area. The back yard is fenced in and guests are welcome to play with the outdoor toys during their stay. Guests are welcome to connect to our Sonos sound system during their stay. The Sonos Roam is for outdoor use, all others must be kept in doors. Please bring the roam in at the end of your outdoor time at night in case of rain. A charger is provided so you can use throughout your stay. We have a coffee pot with an espresso maker and coffee beans/grinder for guest use. Instructions for this, the Sonos, and the TVs/streaming services are in our house manual. Guest access Guests will be provided with a code for a lockbox next to the front entrance where they will access their key for their stay. Other things to note Smoking is only allowed outside in the firepit area or back yard. Please place cigarettes in the ashtray provided. A level two charger is available for guests with an electric vehicle and is located at the bottom of the driveway. Guests should utilize the driveway for parking and no more than two vehicles are allowed during your stay.
