This 2 bdrm cabin is nestled right between Downtown St. Ignace and the Kewadin Casino. 5 minutes or less to downtown, Mackinac Island ferries/ice bridge, airport, Kewadin casino, and local attractions. Come enjoy Northern Michigan at the Ope n’ Shore! The space The cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and a pullout sofa sleeper. The full bathroom with a stand up shower is accessible from both bedrooms...so make sure you are close to your fellow travelers! This setup is ideal for families, couples, solo travelers, and close friends. The living space is open to the kitchen/dining room making this quaint cabin feel spacious. You’ll have a couch and two chairs for winding down by the fireplace, reading a book, or watching the 50”flatscreen smart TV. Release your inner Chef in our stocked kitchen! You’ll find pots, pans, baking dishes, wine accessories, blender, juicer, and even a popcorn maker! If you want to know about a specific item, send us a message! If you’re into outdoor living, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll have a grill, campfire chairs, marshmallow roasting sticks, and plenty of space to relax or play in the backyard. Park a chair on the beach and dip your toes into Lake Huron. If you have little ones we have a baby/toddler tub that can fit in the stand up shower, pack n’ play, booster seat, Children’s books, some toys and toddler dinnerware. More detail in the photo captions! Guest access The entire cabin and yard are all yours! Guests will not have access to the garage unless prearranged upon booking. Other things to note Every cabin has its quirks! Please note: -The bedroom doors are thin, wood cabin doors with latches instead of traditional locks. -The wall furnace may be noisier than what you are used to with a central heating system. -When the furnace is on, one bedroom is cooler than the other. We have a space heater available if you need some extra heat! Being by the water is a beautiful experience but it may come with outdoor bugs. Pack your bug spray in the warmer months! The Great Lakes have a midge surge each year for about a week in late Spring. While annoying, they are a sign of a healthy lake and are harmless non-biters! Lake Huron water levels do change from year to year and if water levels drop significantly then our beach will be more grassy and shallow. We are walkable to a sandy public beach on the months this impacts us.
