44 private acres to yourself! ATV/horse friendly!

This is a 200+ year old farmhouse plus 44 acres of property. The farmhouse was renovated in 2015. It’s only 17 miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance. Hosts do not live on the property. The closest neighbor is over 100 yards away. You will see abundant wildlife such as deer, turkeys, and hawks from the large kitchen window. It’s only 22 miles to Pigeon Forge. The space This 1,798 square foot historic farmhouse was completely restored in 2015 including all new plumbing and wiring for your safety. Downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. Upstairs bedroom has a king bed and a private bathroom. The open loft has a TV area plus two single beds. The large sofa in the living room will accommodate one person for sleeping. There are real wood floors in all rooms except two. You will have access to all 44 acres of the ranch. We have approximately 35 acres of open fields plus 9 acres of mature hardwood forest. We maintain walking/ATV trails, but, the remainder is tall grass to help attract wildlife. Bring your ATVs/UTVs, dirt bikes, and horses to explore the ranch! There’s a small creek that runs through the center of the ranch. We provide folding camp chairs and a folding table that can be placed outdoors anywhere you desire. Cell service is good and we have fast unlimited wifi for streaming movies. There are no steep roads to worry about, so, access is easy even in snowy weather. We don’t currently have horse stalls available, but, feel free to bring a portable corral system if you are traveling with horses. We have a 24 inch charcoal grill and a rock fire ring in the yard. Guest access Guests have access to the entire 44 acre ranch! There are no other houses on the property, however, there may be tractors operating in the fields. Other things to note Due to the wood construction and wood-burning fireplace/chimney open to the environment, the farmhouse is not 100% airtight like some modern homes. There may be some insects spotted inside. This is out of our control. There is not a dishwasher nor an icemaker in the home. We only provide a limited starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, and soaps. Please plan to purchase additional supplies for longer stays.
