A large and stylish cottage dating back to the early 1800s nestled in the rolling hills of Brontë Country. This quintessential Yorkshire-meets-Scandinavian space is perfectly located within walking distance of cobbled villages, trendy bars & restaurants, independent shops and glorious scenery. The space What was once a spinning mill is now a series of apartments, two houses, one cottage (that’s us!) and a private pond that is home to the local geese. The mill is positioned in the village of Oxenhope; a little nook of wild greenery, sweeping hills, stone houses and literary heritage. The cottage is, quirkily, set across four floors: Ground floor - a kitchen and dining area equip with a myriad of cooking utensil, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and a futuristic oven that has a ‘Grandma’s Apple Struddle’ setting… . First floor - a living room where 1960s furniture meets modern prints and bright colours. It is in here that you’ll find books, boardgames, Smart TV and DVD player. Second floor - This is home to the plush pink panelled double bedroom that is made up of a standard double bed, bedside tables and a built in wardrobe (this bedroom is only open when the booking is for 3 to 4 guests). In addition, this is where the bathroom lives with its bright orange towels. Third floor - a master bedroom with kingsized bed, plenty of storage and sky lights flooding the room with light. External - the cottage comes with its own off-road parking space, a little potted garden and access to the beautiful pond at the back of the mill. Guest access Guests will have access to all of the house and a private parking space at the front. The only restricted access is three cupboards in the house which are full of our cleaning products and stock. With exception if only 2 guests book the smallest bedroom will be locked off. To have access to both bedrooms 3/4 guests selection is required. Other things to note The cottage has Nest home heating as well as free WiFi.
