Nestled amongst the trees on a quiet hillside just north of Sonoma Plaza, our freshly remodeled home is a private garden oasis (with hot tub, alfresco dining, etc.) and just minutes to all of the incredible vineyards, restaurants and spectacular nature that Sonoma, Glen Ellen, and Napa have to offer. The space Tucked away on a beautiful nature-filled quarter acre, our freshly remodeled home has all the amenities (and then some!) and is ideally located just north of Sonoma Square, in the heart of wine country. HOT TUB GARDEN OASIS Take a relaxing soak under the moon and stars in the new six-person hot tub, then rinse off under the hot water open-air shower. Sip your coffee or a glass of wine as you listen to the birds and crickets amongst the trees and flowers in one of the peaceful seating areas in the magical backyard garden. Grill a gourmet meal on the KitchenAid gas grill then enjoy it al fresco on the patio. Take in the lovely view from the large picture window in the large, separate backyard studio with half bath (which is at your disposal throughout your stay!) WELCOME HOME Natural light abounds, with skylights in the tastefully updated dining room, kitchen and both bathrooms. Make yourself at home with high-end furnishings and wood burning stove (with complementary firewood). Enjoy tastefully updated, including hardwood floors, high-speed wifi, and a new 65” Samsung Frame TV that becomes art when not in use (so cool!) BED & BATH Get comfy-cozy and enjoy a good night’s sleep in the three tastefully decorated bedrooms. The tranquil master suite has a king size bed, an en suite bathroom with shower, and a private entrance to the magical backyard garden. The two additional bedrooms have beautiful wooden queen-size beds. Guests love the wonderfully comfortable mattresses with soft, high thread-count organic cotton linens, extra blankets, large assortment of pillows (feather, foam, memory foam, etc.) spacious closets, USB charging ports, sound machine with nightlight, and tower fans. Enjoy the fluffy Pottery Barn towels, Dyson hair dryer, and the complementary soap, shampoo & conditioner, shower gel, and lotion. Additional complementary toiletries and items in the hall closet include (deoderant, sewing kit, first aid kit, humidifier, scale, etc.) KITCHEN Prepare an espresso, coffee or a four-course meal in our fully-equipped kitchen, with new stainless appliances including a wine fridge, gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator with filtered water, microwave, toaster and cooking and all the cooking and dining essentials you might need, including pots, pans, roasting pan, hand mixer, mixing bowls, baking sheets, cooking and bakeware tools and utensils, and a whole big bunch of fun extras, including… - Yedi bread maker - Williams Sonoma air fryer - Vitamix blender - Breville juicer - Cuisinart Belgian waffle maker - Cuisinart toaster - KitchenAid stand mixer & pasta press attachment - Bialetti stovetop espresso maker - Cuisinart programmable drip coffee maker - French press coffee maker - Bodum pour over coffee maker - Bodum coffee grinder - Whirlypop stovetop popcorn popper (with complementary popcorn!) - crock pot - KitchenAid hand mixer - KitchenAid gas grill and the outdoor cooking & dining essentials - Complementary items, including: espresso, coffee, pasta, pasta sauce, popcorn, tea, sugar, maple syrup, olive and other oils, a variety of vinegars, etc. We also have a drawer full of spices and seasonings. (note - I restock and refresh the pantry & spice drawer on a regular basis, though occasionally we do run out of certain items.) - Flashlights (in the bottom kitchen drawer) AND MORE - Free laundry, with 2 washers & 2 dryers, detergent, iron, ironing board - KitchenAid gas grill with outdoor cooking and dining essentials - Many, many books (novels, local guides and info, cookbooks, etc.), magazines, and games, including: chess, monopoly, uno, scrabble, sushi go, mille bournes, yahtzee, game of things, puzzles, and pictionary, etc. - record player and dozens of records - An open backyard studio (with additional half bath) is at your disposal for yoga - Nest thermostat, central air conditioning and heat - Keyless entry & 24 hour self check-in - Parking in the driveway - Pack & Play and baby bath for the little ones Once booked, I’ll send a long list of recommendations to help you plan your stay, and will be available to answer any questions you have. Cheers! Heather Guest access Guests will have access to the house and garage and the entire quarter acre property, including multiple dining and lounging patio areas and of course - the hot tub with open air shower. In addition, guests will have use of the separate studio (at the top of the property, behind the hot tub) which includes a large, empty main room and half bath. Other things to note Please use extreme caution while navigating the backyard steps and use the wooden steps - not the stone garden steps (as they are extremely uneven and not at standard height.) Use flashlights when needed. Our standard weekly rate does not apply to certain holidays or other specially priced dates. Our cancellation policy is set to "strict", but if after you cancel we find someone to fill your spot we're happy to refund your money in full, minus Airbnb fees and any reservation price differences. 100% of the cleaning fee goes to our long-time cleaner, Nora. I’m so grateful to her for accommodating the 100% random cleaning schedule, being available when issues pop up at the house, and making the house & property look great for each and every guest. People are people ❤️ Before accepting *any* reservation, we require all guests to agree to the mandated Sonoma VACATION RENTAL QUIET TIME - 9pm until 9am; guests may be outside during those hours, but must use "whisper voices", as a courtesy to our neighbors - as sound really carries in our very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Additionally, all guests must agree NOT TO FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER (NO TAMPONS OR APPLICATORS, baby wipes, plastics, etc.) The plumbing goes uphill after leaving the house. This requires a pump/motor that cannot handle anything involving string, cotton, etc., and costs $650 to repair (and much more to replace). A few of our nice neighbors walk their friendly/sweet dogs off-leash in the neighborhood. I genuinely want each and every guest to have the best experience possible in our home. That said, things happen and issues pop up on occasion. If you notice something is broken or not working properly, or you have any other issues or concerns about the house or property - please let me know at your earliest convenience so I can address the issue to the best of my ability as soon as possible.
