Truman Lake Retreat a short hour & a half from KC

Our Teal Bend subdivision is conveniently located less than a mile from Long Shoal Marina, Public Boat launch, Boat/Ski Doo Rentals, & Swimming Beach. We are 10-mins from Harry S Truman State Park (boat rentals/hiking trails) & 15-mins from Historic Warsaw (antiquing). Kids can enjoy a sure catch at Lost Valley Fish Hatchery & experience pioneer times at the Truman Visitor Center. Enjoy a walk over the Swinging Bridge & grab a bite at "The Dam Restaurant" or a round of golf at Shawnee Bend. The space Easy access, just off Highway 7 -- we have 2-bedrooms with queen beds, and the living room has 2-queen sleeper sofas (great for kiddos) to accommodate 8-guests. At special request, we also an air conditioned RV with 2-additional queen beds under the Car Port (teens seem to prefer this to the living room sleeper sofas). We have reliable Gig Speed Fiber Internet and an 85" Roku TV in the living room (there is also a small wall mount Roku in the Master Bedroom and a third in the Dining Room/Game area). For guests with Fishing Boats, we have a double wide upper parking lot with a level concrete pad and a power outlet in the carport (just behind the RV). Our entire upper lot is filled in with river rock and is useful for pull through parking without having to back in (if you don't care to use the car port). We also have a power outlet on the deck on the side of the house that will reach the lower or upper parking lot with an extension cord. The lower parking lot is also a concrete pad, single wide. We are a golf cart, atv, and side by side community -- our roads are private and we welcome riding around respectfully at 15-mph or less. We do have a Polaris Ranger that you may rent (for use in the neighborhood only) upon special request. It's a great way to get to the swimming areas. Boat slip rentals and boat rentals are available at Long Shoal Marina (less than 1-mile away) & at Truman State Park (10-minute drive). We have 3-hiking trails to swimming access in the Teal Bend Neighborhood, each about a 10th of a mile. Guest access The entire space is yours to enjoy. We do have a Sportsman Sportster parked at the upper lot under the car port. This can also be rented for an additional charge. Other things to note We have a Polaris Ranger side by side available for rent with a valid drivers license and auto insurance. Speed limit in our neighborhood is 15-mph. The Polaris is for use only in the Teal Bend Sub Division.
