Louisiana Lodge

A little bit of Louisiana on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. A cosy, warm and comfortable retreat with amazing all round views of the neighbouring mountains. Originally a late Victorian or perhaps Edwardian shepherd’s hut, it has recently been totally refurbished inside and out, and is consequently still relatively new to the Airbnb market. Sorry, but dogs or other pets are not allowed. Parking space is provided. The space Totally refurbished and immaculately kept and clean inside. The Louisiana Lodge benefits from a double bedroom, a wc and shower room with hand basin and heated towel rail and a separate kitchenette with breakfast bar. Cooking facilities include a microwave, toaster, Barbecue and a kettle (there is no cooker or hob provided). The bedroom has a hanging rail for clothes, a make up and hair get ready area, USBs for charging equipment, flat screen TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. WiFi access is provided free although due to our relatively remote location in the mountains we can suffer with patchy WiFi signal and complete outages on occasions. All rooms are heated. The bedroom and kitchen areas have smoke detectors fitted and fire extinguishers. You will have your own private garden with Mountain View’s. Guest access Guests will have their own outside space, and a large dedicated garden area which is both private and benefits from stunning views of the Snowdonia Mountains. There is an area for outside eating, along with seating and a hammock for relaxing. The cozy covered porch also has two rocking chairs for enjoying your morning tea, coffee or an evening glass of wine. Other things to note Pets are not permitted. This is due to the close presence of sheep with baby lambs, cows with calves, and as a courtesy to our local farmer - in addition to this we have had issues in the past with other guests with pets that have caused us problems with maintenance and cleaning. Sorry, but we do not permit or provide facilities to charge your electric vehicle (EV) on our premises.
