Modern cabin at the foot of Hardangervidda

Beautiful two-storey cottage completed in 2021 for rent! Content-rich cabin with three bedrooms, 8 beds and parking outside the door. Suitable for 1-2 families! Electric car chargers on the cabin wall make it easy to charge the car if you have an electric car. The cabin is located freely and nicely on a hill with good views over Sysendalen. The space 1st floor: Entrance door, spacious hallway, 1 large bathroom with shower, toilet, heating cables and washing machine. 1 bedroom (master bedroom) with double bed. Large living room and kitchen in one with wood stove and exit to terrace. The kitchen has integrated appliances with oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, kettle and dining table for 6-8 people. Great views from large windows in the living room/kitchen area. 2nd floor: Spacious attic room with sofa bed (2 extra beds), smart TV and desk. Large and good play area for the kids. Here you can just use the games on the shelf! 2 bedrooms facing north with 3 beds each (family bunks). 1 large toilet room with toilet, sink and mirror, without heating cables. Outdoor area: Parking outside the cabin for 1-2 cars (2nd car depends on the amount of snow). Additional large parking space at the entrance to the cabin area. Electric car charger. Terrace. Heated outdoor storage. Other: No smoking in the cabin. No pets allowed. Linen and towels are included. We make the beds and provide towels for the number of guests agreed upon. The tenant is responsible for washing up and we expect to find the cabin in the same condition as you took it over. Guest access Access to the whole cabin. Other things to note The cabin is located in Sysendalen which borders Norway's largest national park. Only 2 hours and 35 minutes from Bergen city center (174 km). Here are unique hiking opportunities in summer and winter. There are two convenience stores in the valley, one at Garden (1.9 km from the cabin) and a remote manned grocery store at Maurset (4.5 km from the cabin). This one is open 7-23 every day except January 1st. The cabin is very close to the tourist attraction Vøringsfossen. Eidfjord with shops, restaurants, access to the lake, swimming areas, Kjeåsen and other activities is only 30 min drive from the cabin. There are good opportunities for electric car charging with charging stations (Tesla supercharger and Eviny) on both Eidfjord and Maurset. In addition, we have an electric car charger from Easee on the cabin wall.
