Blue Skye: Downtown Getaway
Blue Skye: Downtown Getaway
Description
Enjoy staying downtown, where you can access all of the conveniences of town, and also have views of open space, including horses grazing, right out the front door. This ground-floor apartment was recently renovated. There is lots of natural light, which heightens the beauty of the wood floors. Come stay and enjoy the mixture of classic Bishop design with a clean new look. *Please note that these prices include the 14% bed tax that I then pay to the city. The space This residence faces south towards open land, with amazing views. It is located on a quiet street downtown. This unit has beds for 4 people. For additional people, it will be $40 per person/per night. Guest access The entire downstairs unit is yours, including a spacious living room, two bedrooms, and some indoor space perfect for bikes, crashpads, climbing gear, or a pack and play! There is a big yard, with chairs and a table to use while you BBQ or just want to enjoy the evenings outside. Other things to note We are within walking distance of restaurants and shops. There is also an amazing walking trail along the canal, which is just a two-minute walk down the street. Bishop is also a great place to stay if you want to ski Mammoth, but don't want to deal with the crowds and snow. It is also an easy drive to so many other day trip destinations like Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite, Mono Lake, the ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, Bishop Creek, Big Pine Creek, Crowley Lake, Convict Lake... and the list goes on. The kitchen is small, with a smaller refrigerator, but has worked well for guests since I started renting it out short-term in 2018. Also, please note that the bedrooms have new beds, but the rooms are small. It was clearly built at a time when either people, or beds were smaller, or folks didn't do much other than sleep in the room ;)
