This residence faces south towards open land, with amazing views. It is located on a quiet street downtown. This unit has beds for 4 people. For additional people, it will be $40 per person/per night. The entire downstairs unit is yours, including a spacious living room, two bedrooms, and some indoor space perfect for bikes, crashpads, climbing gear, or a pack and play! There is a big yard, with chairs and a table to use while you BBQ or just want to enjoy the evenings outside. I live in the unit above, and enjoy interacting with folks, especially when I am not in a hurry! The unit is located on a quiet street at the edge of downtown. It is four blocks from Main St., making an enjoyable walk to all of the amenities downtown has to offer. The open space out the front door is spectacular, with painted horses often meandering in the field. The best way around Bishop is by car, or on foot. Downtown is easily walkable from the unit. Otherwise, a car is probably the best mode of transportation to get to nearby things to do (climbing, fishing, mountains, etc). There is some public transportation locally, as well as the Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (https://www.estransit.com/) which has buses that go up and down the Eastern Sierra. We are walking distance to restaurants and shops. There is also an amazing walking trail and the canal just a two minute walk down the street. Bishop is also a great place to stay if you want to ski Mammoth, but don't want to deal with the crowds and snow. It is also an easy drive to so many other day trip destinations like Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite, Mono Lake, the ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, Bishop Creek, Crowley Lake, Convict Lake... and the list goes on.
