Carolina Wine Cottage

We have lovingly restored this 1940s farmhouse in Elkin, located just minutes from some of North Carolinas best wineries! We have all the amenities to make you feel right at home. After a day of winery hopping, come back and enjoy some more wine and cheese in the beautiful, new spacious kitchen, or relax out back at the fire pit, taking in the expansive views! The quaint town of Elkin is located minutes away for dining and shopping, or go for a hike at Stone Mountain! The space We have done our best to breathe some new life into this farmhouse, adding modern updates while keeping some of the old farmhouse charm! Guest access Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of the owners locked closet in the house, and the locked outbuilding on the premises. Other things to note As we’ve mentioned before we are surrounded by farmland. These are working farms! The silos located next door will have occasional activity, loading and unloading grain. This usually takes place during the weekdays and is not very disruptive to the peace and quiet. We feel the silos definitely add a bit a charm to the yard! The property is wide open without any obstructions. This allows for some beautiful views! One thing to note as without obstructions, it can be fairly windy, so we ask that you use your best judgment before enjoying the fire pit.
