House in the wilderness on the Lech

Our place is something for nature lovers. We live on the Lech River in Stanzach. Located directly on the alluvial forest and on one of the last wild rivers of the Northern Alps. We offer a small, simple, but cozy attic apartment without frills. The space Our apartment is on the upper floor of our house, it is an attic apartment of about 40 m², bedroom; living room with living room and kitchen, bathroom and a small terrace. At the end of April 2026, the staircase and the terrace will be renovated to create an enclosed staircase with windows leading up to the terrace. A smaller balcony for sitting outside remains. Therefore, the current photos of the balcony will no longer be accurate as of May 2026. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed (1.80 x 2 m) and a closet. The living room with a cozy couch, radio and TV. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, salt and pepper, stove, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, sink, French press, electric kettle, etc. Guest access An external staircase at the house leads to a balcony (morning sun) with its own entrance door. Other things to note Lechtal Aktiv card included in the price (only in summer, late May-October! free bus and mountain railway use, etc.). In the low season and in winter, there is the guest card, with smaller discounts and free bus use in the valley. Host Stefan is also a certified Tyrolean nature and mountain hiking guide and nature park ranger. He offers guided tours and hikes on request. Please read and pay attention to the following! Tourist tax (for Lechtal Tourismus) is always paid in cash on site: €2.60 per person per night. Check out is at 10 am! But you are welcome to talk to us, a later checkout (of course at no extra charge) is usually also possible! Check-in from 3 pm, often possible earlier. Just ask! Important in winter: Our apartment does NOT HAVE central heating. There is an infrared heating panel and an oven, both can heat the apartment sufficiently, but the oven is much more effective for quick and warm heating of the apartment (and also much nicer anyway;-). That's why dealing with it in winter is almost essential. We'll be happy to show you how. We are NOT AN old building and the apartment is well isolated. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to allow dogs at the moment.
