Leave the traffic and stress behind! Come enjoy winter in Colorado! Snowboard, ski or x-country ski at Eldora 14 miles north west of our cabin. Tube sledding at Echo Mountain or rent snowshoes in Nederland. This peaceful place is a perfect spot to unwind! Close to parks, great views, and restaurants, good for couples, business travelers, and families. 6 people maximum. Must be 24 years old to rent our place. No pets. No parties. No Smoking anything inside or outside on our property. The space You will have the whole original house to yourselves. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, wonderful deck, etc. There are 2 loft beds that are to be used by supervised children under 100 lbs. If they are old enough to safely climb the ladders at night, they are welcome to sleep up there and there is bedding in a bin in the closet. Please be sure to have them bring down the bedding, belongings and trash before you all check out. It is not as easy for my housekeeper to get up there. PS-Not sure how it happened, but an athletic 17 yr old boy broke 2 rungs on one of the ladders this summer, after it had been used with no issues since the 1970s. So the family helped us realized that we should put some guidelines on who uses the loft ladders. PSS- We have a private separate entrance apartment / ‘duplex like’ addition at the house that is for our use only when we are there. Unfortunately for us we live in Minnesota and rarely are able to use our private apartment. If in the rare chance we are going to be there during your stay, we would notify you ahead of time. Or if our plans change after your booking, we would respect your privacy in the house. Yet if you prefer, we would offer you a full refund. Guest access You will have access to the whole original house. We have an apartment for ourselves and storage areas that are private. Other things to note We have wildlife that like to visit our property. Perhaps you will have a chance to see them.
