The House Next Door

We are right next door, so we will be neighbours. The houses are separated though and you will have complete freedom, with the advantage of having someone nearby. Restored in 2021, the property is a farmhouse from the late 1800s, in an area that not so long ago was countryside and is now a peaceful area of the city. Alongside the rustic wooden beams and red bricks are an external area and a spacious lounge and dining area. Comforts such as air conditioning, wifi and private parking are included. The space The House Next Door was originally built in the late 1800s as a farmhouse. Completely renovated in 2021, it spans two floors and provides two external spaces; one in front of the house, one behind. The ground floor is reached via the lounge, fitted out with a fireplace, comfortable corner sofa-bed and a TV. The lounge leads into the fully-accessorised kitchen, which has a comfortable dining area and provides access onto a private courtyard, which also contains a fully-kitted laundry-house. The courtyard is tiled and has a few spaces for flowers and aromatic plants. It's fully illuminated and includes an outdoor table and chairs for dinners outside. The ground floor also provides a bathroom, including a decent-sized shower. On the first floor, which is reached via a wide stairwell, is the corridor from which the upstairs bathroom and two bedrooms can be found. The two bedrooms are both large and very light and airy. One of them also provides access on to a terrace, which looks out on to the private courtyard described above. The first bedroom has a large double-sized bed and a large wardrobe. The second bedroom has a double-sized bed and a single bed. Both rooms are equipped with air conditioning and well-lit desks. All of the doors and windows of the house are equipped with easy-to-use mosquito nets. Guest access The house is situated very near to three landmarks that are well known in Pisa: the Church of San Michele, with its remarkably leaning bell-tower (yes, everything in Pisa leans!); the communal library, a large, modern building, which sits on the opposite side of the piazza to the church; and the Parco di Mau, a large, green playing area for kids, which is situated behind the library. The road on which the house can be found snakes away next to the library, in the opposite direction to the church. The house is near to the start of the road, when leading onto it from the piazza. Once inside the property, which can be accessed by an automatic gate that is opened with a remote control, there is ample space to park your car. Parking is possible right up to the front door, so loading and unloading is straightforward. Note also that free parking is also available in the piazza in front of the church itself, as well as behind the house. Consider also that the road on which the house is found, is a one-way street, so if you are not sure where to find us, you might find it easier to first park in the piazza in front of the church and walk the short distance to the smaller pedestrian gate, at which point you can ring the bell and get the remote control.
