1st Floor Room - Double Bed & Bath/Shower

Please take note! This home is in Michigan on the USA side of the river. My home, not far from the I-75 exit, is within walking distance of Lake Superior State University (LSSU) which is the host to numerous events. We are close to downtown Sault Ste. Marie attractions and the international Bridge to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. An excellent place for visiting parents, students, faculty, and traveling nurses. We hope to provide a quiet and pleasant home. This is a no smoking atmosphere. The space It is a practical family home of the 50s. The backyard is a project in process. Feel free to use the gazebo. Guest access The 1st floor north bedroom has a new double bed. A shower is for your use. It is near the den and living room and stairs going to the next floor. I use the stairs but will take care to not interrupt your time here. On the second floor is a private room with a single bed in case you are a party of three or are willing to share the shower with the 1st floor renter. You are welcome to use the den, dining room and kitchen as needed. During your stay My intention is to be here to greet you. It is helpful to tell me your approximate time frame... early or late afternoon, early or late evening or very late. I do enjoy sharing a bit of our lives but also do not want to delay your activities. Please be aware if there are other renters in the house. In all cases I treasure respectful considerations. I prefer to offer a quieter atmosphere, generally especially after 9:30 pm. Generally understanding the stress our air/soil/water are under today, I appreciate conservation in general. There are collection bins (located in breezeway) for clean recycling (cardboard, glass, plastic, aluminum, paper) and appreciate their use. No containers with oils can be recycled. I have a beloved pet cat Brigid. Brigid has gone from being a acutely frighten to actually letting you see parts of her at times but she will not bother you. Other things to note If you use the washer, please do not overuse soap. Please be aware that the laundry room is in the basement. Our nights here are often cool even in summer. . We have extra warm blankets but, if you will, please do your part and dress warmer.
