5 bedrooms + loft + Lake View + Hot Tub + Pool + Tennis + Private Beach Nestled in exclusive Chambers Landing in Homewood, welcome to Eagle’s Nest, a beautifully updated home offering hilltop lake views from the kitchen, dining area, living room, loft, and expansive deck with hot tub. BBQ is typically available end of May thru Oct. This lovely home has five bedrooms with room to sleep 13 guests. Bring the family and friends for an unforgettable Lake Tahoe vacation! The first level features a great room with kitchen, dining area, and living room with a plush sectional, wood burning fireplace, and flat panel TV. With floor to ceiling picture windows, you may find yourself constantly admiring the views. The gourmet kitchen has all the extras—granite countertops and tile backsplash, upgraded cabinets, a prep sink, stainless steel appliances including a large gas cooktop, a dishwasher and a wine refrigerator. There is also an island with seating for four. The nearby dining table has seating for eight. On the same level of this spacious Eagle’s Nest, there are three bedrooms, two with queen-size beds, one with a full size bed and two bathrooms—one full, and one half. The second floor features two additional bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with a full-size bed. There is a full bathroom. Plenty of bed and bath linens are provided. The loft with second living area has three twin beds, a sofa, two chairs, and a TV. Summer Guests: You will have access to the Chambers Landing. Chambers Landing is a private beach and tennis club and is available to you while staying at this Homewood Cabin. For your enjoyment you will find sandy beaches, a sparkling heated pool, and tennis courts, all staffed by the Chambers Lifeguard Team. The beach also has a historic bar and pier, and a lakeview casual restaurant. Transportation to the amenities is made easy by catching a ride on the shuttle service. Lake Tahoe has many other features you can enjoy: scenic bicycle trails, golfing, horseback riding, tennis, rafting, hiking, and the mountains right outside your door.(Availability - Typically between Memorial and Labor Day Holidays.) In addition to Chambers Landing, when you’re ready to venture out, many Lake Tahoe activities and sights are right at your doorstep! Your home away from home is close to Meeks Bay, with a terrific sandy beach and paddleboard and boat rentals. Located on National Forest Land, the Meeks Bay shoreline is popular for its beautiful scenery, sprawling clean beaches, and easy access. The area offers a high concentration of recreation opportunities including camping, swimming, biking, boating and hiking into the nearby Desolation Wilderness. Ed Z’Berg – Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen, and juniper. Another attraction is the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion (also known as Pine Lodge), a summer home built in 1903. Winter visitors to the park will find over 20 kilometers of marked cross country ski trails and a heated restroom in the General Creek campground. D.L. Bliss State Park is open to vehicular traffic in the summer, where you can enjoy swimming or scuba diving in the crystal clear water of Lake Tahoe, picnicking, relaxing on the warm sand of Lester Beach or Calawee Cove, and access to hiking the Rubicon Trail, Lighthouse Trail, and Balancing Rock Trail. Lester Beach is a popular location to launch your kayak, paddleboard, or canoe. You won’t want to miss the icon of Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay, a short drive away. Emerald Bay State Park boasts 360-degree picturesque views that encompass Emerald Bay, Fannette Island, Eagle Falls, and Vikingsholm Castle. Just a few miles down the road you’ll find Homewood, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley Ski Resorts. The Magical West Shore has great winter options: snowshoeing, snowboarding, downhill or cross-country skiing, sledding, and more!
