Welcome to our Vintage Cottage with a rustic space to rejuvenate in the GSMNP. Porch Sitting is a must with views of the Tuckasegee River and the Great Smoky Mountain Railway. Enjoy waving at the train from our front porch. Just a 3 min walk to downtown Bryson City with shops, restaurants, and breweries. We are a 4 min drive to Deep Creek in the GSMNP for tubing, picnicking, and hiking. Children will enjoy our yard that includes a tire swing, a fire pit and grill for the perfect family time. The space Guests will experience our beautiful rustic charm such as the full kitchen with a large hand made table, crafted wooden counter tops, and a farm house sink. Washer and dryer are also included. Our bathroom offers a handmade vanity and claw foot tub for soaking. Other rustic charms include a sliding barn door, wood floors, and a covered front porch with rocking chairs. Our outdoor area offers a large yard and tire swing for the kids, a patio with a charcoal grill and fire pit with wood for our beautiful mountain evenings. Stroll across the street to the Nantahala Ware House Restaurant or down town to try out multiple breweries and food trucks. Stop by CJ's Bar and Grill and have one of the best Cheeseburgers in town. The change of the season brings colors to life, pumpkin spice everything, and a must visit to our local Darnell Farms. Summer is noted for our beautiful rivers for fishing and rafting. Enjoy many activities such as tubing at Deep Creek, hiking, rafting, and ziplining. Explore the Road to Nowhere and the history of Swain County. Spring brings the bloom of flowers and a time for recharge at a home away from home at the cottage.
