Explore our beautiful 5 acre retreat and creek-side lodging near Terrapin Creek! We offer a spacious escape for small gatherings which provide access to all the local amenities within 15 miles of our location. Enjoy Alabama’s sought after trail riding, kayaking, hiking, game prize fishing, hunting, boating, floating and swimming. We are located along Terrapin Creek, a kayakers paradise, and only 0.5 miles north of Terrapin Outdoor Center, No Worries Kayaking and Redneck Yacht Club. The space Lodge sleeps up to 9 people. Main room has 1 king bed, 2 rooms with 1 queen bed each, and 1 room with 3 twin beds (one bunk). Main room has its own bathroom and large screen TV. Lounge on the living room sectional while you enjoy the fireplace. Large capacity washer and dryer. Fully stocked kitchen. Guest access Access to the main house and outdoor spaces. *** please note that this is a shared property with cabins which are reserved and rented separately. The house & patio is not shared, but the cabins are located at the back of the acreage. Cabin guests, have exclusive privileges to the bathhouse, backside of outdoor fireplace, and parking areas. For added privacy, you can ask about having the cabins blocked for privacy and not used for a small privacy fee or the main house, plus the three cabins may be reserved together and used as a whole. Don’t hesitate to contact the host with any questions about this matter. Other things to note Please take note that this property has scheduled maintenance throughout the month, whether it be lawn maintenance taking care of the yard, or pest control etc. Please be mindful of the slim chance that one of them might show up during your stay. If this would be an issue during your stay or have any questions please let us know. Pets are approval basis and must be included in reservation request. This property is not fenced in so we ask that pets be leashed at all times while outdoors for their safety. Property is directly along the creek without fencing along the embankment, plus neighboring horses and other dogs. Pick up all pet waste. Children must be supervised at all times since there may be encountering of wildlife including fish, turtles, snakes, various bugs, spiders, dear, bees, wasps, cats, squirrels, frogs etc. to name a few. Also, the danger of the water! No driving or parking permitted on the grass. Use designated driveway and parking spots. If you smoke, smoke outside & away from the house and do NOT throw your cigarette butts in the yard, PLEASE:)
