Historic 2-story backhouse - comes with a cat

Mara is here to welcome you to our AirBnb, but she requires pets and love. We sometimes travel away from Copenhagen, and look for someone to stay in our house and take care of our cat while we’re away. Mara is 10 years old and incredibly sweet and social, she loves snuggles and playtime. While you’re here, she’ll need daily feeding and water change, and a litterbox cleaning once every 5 days or so. The space The house is a unique and peaceful backhouse in Copenhagen’s trendy quarter of Nordvest. The house was built in 1913 as stables, and was converted into a cork factory before WW1. It was converted again into a residence in 2007. It includes a kitchen with dishwasher, one and a half bathrooms, 2 spacious bedrooms, a large living room with skylights, a wood burning stove/fireplace, tv and comfy couch; as well as 2 dedicated work-from-home desks. The couch is long enough for anyone under 2m (6’) to comfortably sleep on Guest access You’ll have the entire house plus the gravel patio directly in front of the house. The rest of the yard can be used, but it is shared with the neighbors. This area includes a sandbox, a children’s playhouse, 2 swings, and covered bicycle and stroller parking. Other things to note So, the cat! We know not many AirBnbs come with pets, and we’re hoping to find someone who’s as crazy about animals as we are. She’s a big sweetie and cuddle monster who will sleep quietly by your face, but also be ready to play the moment you wake up. We love her dearly and hope you do too. She gets wet food and fresh water every day, plus always has dry kibble out. The litterbox gets smelly after 5ish days. If your trip is shorter you don’t need to clean it as I’ll do it before I go. If you do clean it, you can scoop it and pop it in the trash near the entrance. We have a home security system as this is our primary residence. The cameras only work if the system is marked as “away from home” so we have no access to them while someone is in the house. We can get you set up with a profile to help keep your belongings safe when you’re out and about -or- we will gladly disable the system entirely - whatever you’re comfortable with!
