Cozy 4-season lakefront cabin on Birch Lake with a private dock and 105 ft of shoreline. Enjoy beautiful views, a fully stocked kitchen, a comfortable living room with TV and games, and three bedrooms with extra linens. Relax in the backyard with a grill and seating, or head down the stairs to a sandy shoreline for swimming. Two kayaks included, boat launch nearby, ATV trails minutes away. Laundry on-site. The perfect, peaceful getaway! The space Enter the main foyer and take five steps to the main living space. Down the steps is an unfinished basement with a laundry room. The upper level features a fully stocked kitchen with everything you’ll need during your stay. It includes essential cookware, a Keurig coffee maker with pods, and modern appliances such as a dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, and a four-burner gas stove. Just off the kitchen is a dining area with seating for six. From the kitchen, step into the adjoining living room—a cozy space with two sofas, two chairs, a coffee table, web-streaming 55-inch TV, board games, and books for your enjoyment. From here, you’ll have access to the backyard—arguably the highlight of 1875. The outdoor space features a charcoal grill (you have to bring), a table with cushioned chairs. There is a good number of steps leading down to Birch Lake. Please note that the stairs are somewhat steep, so use caution when heading down. Once you arrive, you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful lake. There is a dock, with a bench available for use, as well as a small sandy area perfect for relaxing or swimming. You can park your boat here. Boats are available for rent at near by resort. This level also includes three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The first bedroom offers two twin beds. The second bedroom features a bunk bed (full on the bottom, twin on top), along with a nightstand, shelving, closet space, and a desk. The third (primary) bedroom includes a queen-size bed and a spacious closet. All bedrooms are stocked with extra linens and include a floor fan for added comfort. Please note that the lower level is currently unfinished, as it is part of an ongoing project. However, it does include a laundry area with a washer and dryer. Guests are welcome to use these facilities, and detergent and dryer sheets are provided for your convenience. Fast Internet is available at the property. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire property during their stay. There will be no other guests or occupants on-site aside from those included in your reservation. Access to the home is provided via a secure lockbox using the code shared in your welcome message. If you have any trouble accessing the property, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to help. Other things to note - No parties, events, or additional guests beyond those included in your reservation - No smoking or drug use on the property - No pets, as we maintain a hypoallergenic environment - Please be mindful of neighbors and observe quiet hours -NO motorized vehicles on GRASS. Septic system is in front of house and if damaged, you will be charged for the same. If you choose to use the fire pit, please make sure of the following/when there is a LIT fire in the backyard: 1) Check for fire warning by the local authorities. 2)When Fire pit is Lit—NEVER LEAVE UNATTENDED. 3) Make sure Fire is completely out when done using. Note that when fire is put out correctly, there should be no red coals or embers visible.
