This charming, spacious, private, sunset-embracing room seamlessly connects to a tranquil backyard deck with sliding glass doors. Delight in the convenience of an in-room breakfast table, lounging chair, generous storage, and an attached private bathroom with remodeled shower. A short 15-min drive to Red Rocks or to Denver. My family & friendly feline live in the rest of the home. O'Kane Park lies just 150 ft away. Pets welcome w/ $35 pet fee. The space 1924 Farmhouse on 1/3 acre property in a quiet neighborhood. 150 ft from beautiful O'Kane Park, where you'll find running/walking paths, a playground, basketball and tennis courts, picnic tables and event space, a duck pond, lots of green space as well as several gardens. Your room and bathroom are an addition to the house so have been more recently remodeled compared to the rest of the home. You have a separate entrance to the house and your room, which provides additional privacy. Guest access We live in a cozy home as a family of four, which includes our contagiously friendly cat "Belle", but you have plenty of privacy in your corner wing. You have direct access to the kitchen, where you can store your food or cook as you please. We have an assortment of hot tea for you to choose from and I like to make a pot of hot coffee for the house in the mornings. During your stay The best way to reach me is through the Airbnb message app. I will usually answer immediately but at most within 2 hours except possibly when traveling or at night. Other things to note The location of the house is ideal. Along with beautiful O'Kane Park right next door, we are a 15-minute walk (or a 2-min drive) to Belmar, an outdoor mall that includes bars, restaurants, shops, a movie theatre, bowling alley, etc. Additionally, within a 1/2 mile radius, you'll find several coffee shops, a bagel shop, a wonderful Thai restaurant, Five Guys, great pizza...the list goes on. We are also very close to public transportation that can take you right into the city. I've lived in the Denver area since 2015 and would be more than happy to provide recommendations in the city or the mountains.
