Sunny Downtown Room King Bed, Great Views & Serene

The house is located in downtown Peekskill, so a car is not necessary. You can walk everywhere! You have free street parking, a king-sized bed, and epic views of the mountains, a serene backyard, and Peekskill's skyline. Peekskill is just 1 train, 1 boat, or 1 HR drive from NYC. Your reservation will include a private room filled with sunlight, a king-sized bed, a colorful minimalistic style space, a shared bathroom, and a shared living room. The space To get to Peekskill, you have tons of options. You can take a cruise from Manhattan down the Hudson ( I know, very cool). You can take the train from Manhattan. It is one train, a few stops, and about an hour. From the Peekskill Train Station, you can walk 15-20 minutes to the house or Uber in 3 minutes. You can also take the train to Croton-Harmon and Uber to the house in 15-20 minutes. If you are coming from the airport, you can Uber (it is between $50-$150 depending on the airport and will take 45 - 90 minutes depending on the airport). The entire house is keyless, so it is impossible to get locked out or lose the keys ;-). Guests must be able to use smart locks independently. For your stay, you will have a private room with access to shared spaces: a bathroom and a living room. The bedroom includes a spacious closet, a king-sized bed, side tables, a desk and chair, a sofa, bathrobe(s), and disposable slippers. In the living room, there is a 50-inch TV and another sofa. From the living room, you have a view of the backyard, the city skyline, and the mountains. In general, I am a laid-back host with little to no rules, beyond basic common sense stuff that you would not do as a guest in someone's home. My main rules are that guests must be able to self-check in independently, using smart locks, and remove their shoes on entry of the house leaving them in the mudroom. As guests are given disposable slippers, so this is an easy ask. Though you might not see me much during your stay, please send me a message if you need something. I am always happy to make recommendations for anything from food to activities. All I ask in return is that you respect my home, as this is my primary residence. For check-in, you will receive your codes by 12 pm on the day you are checking in. Please make sure that you are able to independently complete a self-check in using smart locks. Check-in is between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sometimes, I can accommodate a later check-in, but that would need to be agreed upon at the same time your reservation is confirmed. If we have no agreement, and you arrive after 8 p.m., you will not be able to check-in and no refund will be issued, as I end my days around 8 p.m. and am offline after that point.
