Treetop Casita in Evergreen

This mountain retreat is located on 5 acres in Evergreen. It is a spacious 600 sq. ft. apartment above our workshop, separate from the main home. With easy access to 285, you can explore what the foothills has to offer. We are only 10 minutes to downtown Evergreen, 30 minutes to Red Rocks and 45 minutes to downtown Denver. Whether you turn left or right when leaving the driveway, you are moments away from excellent hiking, biking, or whatever your adventurous heart desires. The space The bedroom has a queen bed with memory foam mattress. The living room has a pullout sleeper sofa with extra blankets and pillows stored under the chaise. Bring your streaming accounts to watch your favorite shows and movies. The large kitchenette is well stocked to make all your meals. It comes equipped with fridge, microwave, 2 induction cook tops, large toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, pots & pans, dishes and cutlery. Bathroom has a walk-in shower and is stocked with towels and washcloths. There is also a full size washer and dryer. Guest access You will have the entire apartment above my upholstery workshop. Access is via a set of exterior stairs that lead to the private entrance. Other things to note I run a small upholstery business from the shop below the apartment. I try to get work done while guests are out for the day. This would probably not be a good fit for someone that works nights and sleeps during the day as I am hammering and using my staple gun often. We are a small mountain community and don’t have access to the fastest internet. Streaming movies and internet browsing are not a problem. But if you work remotely and need a high bandwidth, you will run into some lag. 4WD or AWD is necessary October thru May. The county road is maintained and we will plow the driveway, but 2 wheel drive still won't cut it. We do not allow any smoking on the property, because of the high danger or wildfires. Please note, there are stairs to and from the parking area, so the apartment is not recommended for guests with mobility issues.
