Come enjoy a stay at OakHill located in the heart of the mitten, surrounded by the Great Lakes. This is a camping experience in a bunkhouse rv without the expense of one! Enjoy our private 20 acres with two lakes for boating and catch and release fishing, Don’t forget your own rods and bait! With two paddle boats and a launch pad to add to your lake enjoyment! Bring your pet along for a small fee then kick back and stay a while! Theres lots of shopping and destinations within 1 hr too! The space Diane offers a very unique setting with manicured lawns and woody areas, including two private lakes. If you need a place for the night or need that getaway from it all, OakHill is your ticket. This place is so special, yet close to many other destinations . The views are wonderful, and the birds sing at all times of the day. We also rent the property for outdoor weddings. Just ask us about that! Take a little time for yourself here at OakHill. You'll be glad you did! Premium outlet malls just 45 minutes to the north (Birch Run Outlets) and the south (Great Lakes Crossing), as well as dining within minutes. You will be staying in our 29’ camper trailer equipped with all the amenities including a queen size bed, smart TV, full kitchen with a Keurig machine ( bring your favorite K-cups), central heat and air. There is WiFi at the camper. If you have never been in an RV, make sure the accommodations will be ok for you. RVs only have a 6 gallon hot water heater so long showers are not an option. Also RV toilets work different than a home toilet works. Take a look at videos on YouTube to get an idea what to expect. Access to 20 acres that are private, peaceful, and secluded. With many activities available like boating and fishing ( bring your own fishing rods and kayaks), we have a paddle boat for your use, but don't forget your life Jackets. Fishing is catch and release only, (FISHING ON THE BACK LARGER POND ONLY). There is a fire pit on site, there is a wood shed nearby with dry firewood for a price of 4 pieces for a $1, or bring your own, and kindling is free. We also have fresh Farm Eggs for $2 a dozen. If you're a bird watcher, you will love our selection of different species. We’re also close to many other attractions, restaurants, and shopping destinations. including Frankenmuth, Pine Knob, Black Rock, and the Flint and Davison Farmers Markets! Please be sure to read all our listing and look at all the pictures with captions to be sure our accommodations will be acceptable for your stay. You’re sure to enjoy your stay here at OakHill! Guest access You would be staying in our 29’ camper trailer equipped with all the amenities, including a queen size bed, smart TV, and a full kitchen with a Keurig machine. Just bring your favorite K-cups, food, charcoal, and lighter fluid for the grill. All dinner ware, utensils, pots and pans, and linens are provided. There is WiFi at the camper. Camper only has 6 gallon hot water heater, and toilet operation is different than your home, so check camper videos to be aware of this to make sure this will be acceptable for your stay. There is a fire pit, and there’s firewood available in the woodshed (see photos). Also, there is a pile of kindling wood in the campsite you are welcome to use. There is a hand saw in woodshed for your use. You'll have access to 20 acres of well manicured property. With many activities available like bird watching, boating, fishing with no license, (catch and release only on back larger pond). Shopping is so close as well as many destinations like Frankenmuth, Canada, the Detroit Zoo, and the Great Lakes Crossing outlet! DoorDash, Uber, Lyft, and all pizzerias service our location. There are a few rules: -Absolutely NO SMOKING IN THE RV -You must pick up after yourself to avoid cleaning charges. -You will be held responsible for any property damage. -No burning of household waste in the fire pit. -SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK / NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY! -All fishing is catch and release only. FISHING ON BACK, LARGER POND ONLY! These rules are also listed in the RV. If you plan on using the paddle boat don't forget to bring your life Jackets. We look forward to meeting you. Door dash is always available too. Dan and Diane like Lucky's Steak House and Italia Gardens in Davison or for less expensive eats we like Leo's Coney Island, who use the made in Flint Koegels hot dogs and Flint style Coney sauce. :) Please go to the calendar on the Airbnb site to see what days are available.
