Welcome to Woodhaven. Our studio offers travelers a place to rest after a day of galivanting around NYC. We are less than a block from the WOODHAVEN BLVD "J" Subway stop which whisks you into Manhattan in 30 minutes and is centrally located between JFK and LGA airports. Our neighborhood offers diverse ethnic food typical of Queens and grocery stores for home cooking. Woodhaven is also home to Forest Park, which offers outdoor recreation. The space A Woodhaven Artist Studio is a great space to relax after a day of exploring NYC. The open floor plan accentuates the studio feel, with a comfy Queen size bed, an L-shaped couch (which can be pulled out into a full-size bed) for chilling, and tv viewing if desired. The full kitchen allows for delicious leftovers to be heated or a missed home cook meal made. The bathroom is spacious and holds many amenities necessary for one's preparations for a NYC adventure. Lastly, the walls adorn prints of collages created by the host and other artistic projects are scattered throughout the space. Guest access Guest access is along the left side of the house, thru a keypad door, down 6 steps into a shared laundry room area and to the right is a door, take the key into The Woodhaven Artist Studio. Other things to note Please be advised that this is my tri generation family's primary residence, so you may hear children walking, playing or talking during daytime hours (especially in the mornings between 6- 8am and 4-9pm). The kids can be rumpus, but we try our best to tame them when we have guests. For most people this is not an issue, but we have had one or two guest comment about it and should you feel disturbed, please notify us and we'll try to control the wildness.
