There are paved bike paths that lead to Tahoe City where you will find numerous restaurants, galleries, cinemas, festivals, and shopping. It's a short drive to the Village at Squaw Valley for ice skating, a tram, boutique shopping, and restaurants. This lovely rental is in an excellent location just outside of Tahoe City in Ward Valley. You'll be only a mile from stunning, sparkling Lake Tahoe and within walking distance of the Tahoe State Recreation Area. The Tahoe Rim Trail is a half-mile up the road, which will also connect you to the Pacific Crest Trail. A 4X4 is suggested in the winter months.
