Our 1-bedroom basement apartment features full-bath, kitchen, and a large living area. Just 10 minutes from downtown, it's set on a quiet street surrounded by nature. There is private entry, parking, and lots of personal touches. Families of students at Lipscomb, Belmont, and Vanderbilt love our proximity to the campuses. Couples love the quiet retreat from a full day of touring the city. Musicians love the upright piano and woody surroundings. And ALL are welcome! The space The apartment is the basement of our house. It has been decorated and furnished with care, featuring many impressionist paintings by my wife. Wooden furniture, earth tones, rich fabrics, and stained concrete flooring softened by area rugs create a warm and natural atmosphere. In short, it's cozy, calming, and well cared-for. The comfortable, well-lit work station is surrounded by plants, with reliable high-speed WiFi and easy-to-access outlets for charging. The kitchen table is also a comfortable place to work, with plenty of outlets and lots of natural light. Even the carport has electrical outlets and seating for working outside on good-weather days. Remember that our family lives in the house above this apartment. You will hear us walking around upstairs! The sound of footfall above is simply something we can't fully control. Please understand this before booking.
