We welcome you to our bucolic cottage, located in the heart of the remarkable heritage site of Semur en Auxois. It is located in the very heart of the city, on the corner of one of the city's shopping districts, with many restaurants and bars. The Gîte de l'Orle Rose is the old miller's house, the house has been completely renovated to offer all the comfort without losing its original charm. The space You will have complete privacy in this cottage with a maximum capacity of 3 people, consisting of a bright living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and an equipped kitchen. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances: fridge, dishwasher, oven, induction cooktop, microwave, bean coffee machine, cooking utensils, plates, cups and utensils… You can enjoy making your coffee while admiring the Armançon, thanks to the kitchen window directly overlooking the weir. The bright living room has unique seats, carefully renovated by a local craftsman making original and unique creations. The cottage has two separate bedrooms: a double bedroom with a 160 x 200 bed, and a single bedroom with a 112 x 190 bed. The sheets are 100% ORGANIC COTTON PERCALE 80 threads/cm². The bed ends and cushions are made of cotton gauze embroidered with our initials, they are made by our local creative daughter @graindefil. The mattresses are made fifteen minutes away and are of excellent quality. The double room overlooks the river: you can fall asleep to the sound of the lapping water. Just outside the living room, the terrace with outdoor dining table and relaxation area (2 deckchairs), is absolutely unique in the heart of downtown Semur en Auxois: it allows guests, in complete privacy, to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or… a tasty glass of red wine from Burgundy, surrounded by plants and flowers and overlooking the Armançon. At your disposal: Very high speed internet with WiFi 6, freshly washed linens and towels for all guests, bath towels, as well as all consumables, including coffee, tea, dishwashing product. Guest access a cottage for 3 people in complete privacy with parking, a terrace and access to the peninsula Other things to note The property covers three hectares: enjoy a sunny afternoon on our huge peninsula: a peaceful haven where you will have at your disposal places to relax (swing, stone bench and small table). You can take fresh air and unique photos. Due to the proximity of the river we do not accept children under 7 years old and who cannot swim (contact us by messaging) The cottage is located in a restricted traffic area: we have a private driveway that can accommodate 3 cars. Parking is available directly in front of the house. Historic capital of Auxois, Semur en Auxois is a city of nearly 4,500 inhabitants that offers a real journey through time through its alleys and iconic monuments. The Collegiate Church, the Donjon and its fortifications are very interesting places to visit: given the location of the cottage, you can reach all the places of interest in the city on foot, no need to use the car. Semur en Auxois, by car is located 8 km from the A6 motorway (exit 23) and is halfway between Paris and Lyon. Montbard Train Station is 15 kilometers away (TGV Paris-Montbard 1 hour), connection by bus or taxi, bus stop 5 minutes away. We will be happy to welcome you personally upon your arrival.
