At this potential 'Artist Retreat' you will wake up to the sound of Seagulls in the morning and go to bed with the moon glistening on the water. Catch a glimpse of whales in the bay or roast marshmallows on Blow-me-Down Beach. In June/July you might be lucky enough to see the Caplin roll. Take a hike and/or picnic to Green Point Lighthouse. During the fall months go berry picking for blueberries and partridgeberries on the nearby hills. Or just relax on the deck, overlooking the bay. The space Entire 2 Story Vacation Home is located at 11 Blow-me-Down Road, in the picturesque, quiet community of Port-de-Grave, famous for the Christmas Boat Lighting. Built in the 1950's, the property, fondly referred to as "Marie's" or simply "The Shop", was, for 30 years, a Family owned/operated General Store. This spacious property provides a "home away from home" with all its amenities and outdoor space. Doors open up to a wraparound deck and outside dining area. Stairs take you down to a large garden. Electric heated, with propane stove in living room. 3 bedrooms (2 double, 1 single) all with closet space. Sit and have your morning tea overlooking the bay in the single room. Full bathroom upstairs (tub and shower), smaller bathroom downstairs. Safety gate at top of stairs. Large living room (formerly the shop). Large window overlooking the bay. Free wifi, TV. Full kitchen. In the dining area, you can watch the boats sail by and the waves breaking on Burnt Head, Cupids. It is separated from the kitchen by the now exposed chimney and a bar with a live edge wooden slab top, along with 4 barstools. Laundry with washer and Dryer. Free parking on site.
