Our space is designed for one couple or a couple with an infant—please refrain from accessing the closed loft. Ensuring your safety, we follow a rigorous COVID-19 Cleaning Protocol. Between each guest, we use an electrostatic sprayer for disinfection, utilizing non-toxic cleaners and proper PPE for our staff. We employ a CDC-recommended non-toxic disinfectant and wash linens with an earth-friendly detergent and HOT water. Note that the bathroom is accessed through a hallway within the apartment (refer to the floorplan in our photos). The entire apartment is exclusively yours; it is not shared with the coffee shop, and you need not worry about any intrusion from employees or customers. Although the space originated from a commercial kitchen and mop closet, creating a unique layout, it may differ from traditional apartment expectations. Our downtown parking space accommodates a vehicle with a boat trailer. Additionally, please be aware that the apartment is situated behind a coffee shop (NOT UPSTAIRS). While we open in the morning and occasionally host evening events, there is potential for noise. Quiet hours are observed between 10 pm and 7 am; outside of these hours, you may hear us. You have private access to the apartment, including the bathroom, which is not shared with the shop. In an unlikely emergency, we reserve the right to access the electric panel, utility closet, or hallway. We will communicate with you and knock on the door if such a situation arises. Please note that this Airbnb is not wheelchair accessible and may pose difficulties for individuals with mobility issues. Guests have full private access to the apartment, own entrance, patio, bathroom and parking. During normal hours of operation, you are welcome to join us at Howl Mercantile & Coffee. Our staff is at the coffee shop during normal business hours and they are happy to answer your questions. Downtown Salida is the largest creative district in Colorado and has an abundance of bars, restaurants, galleries and shops. This rental is located in a downtown setting and shares an alley with restaurants and bars. Downtown Salida can be noisy at night and so this should be noted before booking our apartment. Walking is ideal downtown and we have a bike shop (Subculture Cyclery) located in our alley that rents bikes. Salida License #0391-0487 Due to our volume, we can no longer accommodate early check ins or late check outs. Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 11am. Washer and dryer in the hallway are for owner’s use only.
