Idyllic Otters Trail log cabin set on the tranquil lagoon in peaceful Natures valley in the heart of the Tsitsikamma forest. Walk 50m to the lagoon or 500m to the unspoiled white beach - arguably the most beautiful part of this coastline. The log cabin has five bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 8 in three queen and four single beds. The space Homely, with open plan living area, two lounges and a traditional log cabin feel. Modern appliances and a large cosy sofa make you feel at home. Flat screen TV for you to bring and hook up your own DSTV. The kitchen is cosy but fully equipped for ten guests. Our freestanding gas cooker offers the continuous cooking option needed to counter any load shedding. You also have a kettle, toaster, microwave and two large fridges. If you need a caffeine kick bring beans or ground coffee and our De’Longhi’s pump espresso coffee machine is there to sort you out. Just off the kitchen is an inside table that seats 6 and an 8-seater table is outside on the deck overlooking the lagoon for warm parts of the day. The home has large glass windows that warm up the house in the winter. It gets cold at nights in winter so to keep cosy there is a gas and an electric heater in the house and a small weber outside to braai or make fires. Return to nature, enjoy a walk through the forest with its majestic Yellowwoods, watch the waves, enjoy the lagoon sunsets accentuated by bird life, photograph the bushbuck or Knysna Lourie feeding early mornings in the gardens.
