You can enjoy Casado, Olla de Carne, or some Gallo Pinto there. We are 20 minutes by car or bus from Carrillo's white sand beaches. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and friendly. A short 15-minute walk will take you to the hustle and bustle of the city. Other things to note You don't need a car to get around the city of Samara. Take a leisurely 15-minute walk to see the many places in the heart of the city. There is a public bus that takes you to Carrillo beach every day. The Nicoya Peninsula is known as the Blue Zone in Costa Rica.
