The MIddlewood - Luxury Private Suite with Garden

'The Middlewood' is a delightful, luxurious apartment, which has recently been meticulously transformed into a private sanctuary full of character and interest, situated in the tiny village of Adlington. Ideally suited for couples, families or business trips with easy access to Manchester city centre via Adlington rail station. On the edge of the Peak District It is a lovely 15-minute walk down the lane to The Legh Arms where you can sample great ales or dine at the Toby Carvery. The space With its own entrance and self-check in, The MIddlewood is perfect for a private, secure break, surrounded by the charming countryside of The Peak District. We have subscribed to the Airbnb 'Commitment to Clean' which means you can be assured of a safe space to enjoy some much-needed time away. The Middlewood comfortably sleeps 4, with the main bed being King-Sized and a comfortable double Sofa bed in Lounge/Diner. For younger children we can provide a campbed with ample space in the main bedroom to comfortably exit and enter the bedroom. The luxurious bathroom is equipped with a fabulous shower and underfloor heating for a constant ambient temperature, even in the middle of the night! We provide towels and quality Cole & Lewis toiletries, as well as all linen, duvets and pillows. If you're planning to stay for more than a few days, we're happy to do a changeover of linen and towels during your stay, just let us know. We provide a selection of teas, coffees and milk for your arrival so you can settle in after your drive, and In the kitchenette there is an under-counter fridge and microwave. There will be few extra little “goodies” waiting for you when you arrive. We are within a quick drive, some 5 minutes away to the local Tesco Express or CO-OP in the next village and we find a lot of our guests like to eat out when they are here, and with a variety of cafes, delis and restaurants there are lots of great options to choose from. You can park on our driveway, behind the security of the electric gates for additional peace of mind, which also provides a safe space for little ones to run-around in the garden area The Middlewood is perfectly located for walking and cycling, where from the front door you can access the Middlewood Way or The Bollington Canal which provide delightful walks and cycle routes towards Macclesfield or Lyme Park and there are restaurants and cafes along the way for a charming place to stop and relax. We are available to give you any guidance and recommend places to go to should you need it. We also provide a dedicated cleaning area for walking boots and cycles with secure lock-up for valuable cycles. Guest access We have an illuminated key safe for self-check in, however, we are generally at home and available if you have any questions and our guests really feel they are away from it all and often comment on how idyllic the location is. We also provide a dedicated area with water/hose and equipment for cleaning cycles and muddy boots. Cycles can be safely secured overnight . Other things to note The kitchenette includes a toaster, kettle, cafetiere, microwave oven and under counter fridge and with prior notice an Air Fryer as an alternative to an oven. We also provide tea, milk, coffee, bowls, crockery, cutlery, pans all usual cooking utensil and glasses. If you require any further kitchen equipment, feel free to ask and we can organize that for you. We can also provide a Breakfast Package of locally sourced ingredients with achoice of either Regualar or Vegitarian options. There is a smart TV in the bedroom for you to kick back and login in to Netflix or Prime as we also have excellent WIFI which those staying for work find essential and the kitchen table provides an excellent peaceful workspace, with a lovely view over the Cheshire/Peak District countryside, often with sheep in field over the hedge. We do also provide a selection of magazines, board games and cards. The MIddlewood is the perfect escape whether you desire a weekend away for walking, cycling or relaxing. Or if you are working and require somewhere peaceful to work during the day or to relax after the day’s work is done.
