Enjoy a peaceful getaway at this beautifully curated cabin. Nestled at the end of the road you will have ultimate privacy. Eclectically decorated with antiques and local photography this place is truly a special experience. Just minutes from town yet you will feel like you are in your own world. The open floor plan with large windows throughout allows you to take in the panoramic views. Watch the local wildlife stroll by while sipping coffee in the morning. The space This cozy cabin has everything you need. There are two rooms, the first has a queen size bed and the second has built in twin bunks. A full length couch can be made up as an extra bed if needed. The kitchen has a beautiful gas range for cooking and is fully loaded with pots, pans and utensils. East and West facing patios allow you to enjoy the stunning sunrises and sunsets of eastern Oregon. One of the more unique features is an outdoor clawfoot tub for the adventurous bather! The cabin is stocked with a small book selection, a few games and a collection of VHS tapes if you want an old school movie night. There is ample parking including a covered parking space. Guest access You will have access to the entire upper portion of our property. Feel free to hike within our property boundaries. Just don't cross any fences. Plenty of room to throw a baseball or football around. There is roughly a mile of broken pavement and gravel road but all vehicles are able to drive it. You will stop in briefly at the main house to check in unless other arrangements are made. We do have a crew of wild children running around so please keep that in mind as you drive by. We look forward to hosting you on your next getaway! Other things to note Please keep in mind that this is a country cabin and that can mean some bugs/critters here and there. We do our best to safely treat the area to minimize this but during certain times of the year it can be difficult. SUMMER: The cabin has very large west facing windows which provide an amazing view but also act as solar heaters! We have shades and an ac unit but be warned it can still be quite warm during the hot weeks of summer. There is no microwave in the cabin do to power restrictions.
