Our house is on a dead-end street, in a child friendly neighborhood, close to all amenities. It's within 5 minutes of the mall, Wal-Mart, restaurants, gas, both hospitals and the airport. We live literally 30 seconds off of Interstate 30 and loop 549 and right across from our local fairgrounds, which hosts many events throughout the year. Available to you is a bedroom with a queen size bed. This room also has a TV, closet and a built in desk with table lamp. It has new bedding, blackout curtains and a radiant heater for use during the winter. Our guests have access to our laundry facilities and kitchen if needed. If we are home (and not running our child to her events), you are more than welcome to join us in the living room. We also have a game room with shuffle board, game boards, gaming stations and other games that you are more than welcome to use. Outside, we have a fire pit with wood provided along with outdoor games, such as horse shoes and corn hole. We love meeting new people but understand that some people just need a place to sleep. We will respect your privacy but really enjoy friendly faces who enjoy communication and interaction. Our lifestyle is a little crazy; we are always remodeling something or adding something to the house. Currently we are working on building up our outdoor area, adding a firepit and outdoor kitchen and then a soaking pool and more. We welcome all guests, but really enjoy those that enjoy company, socializing and making their selves at home. I love everything about my neighborhood: the neighbors, the close proximity to everything and living on a dead-end next to a field that we can use to play kickball or other games. We have a great street light in our front yard so our house is lit up well at night. Our neighborhood is full of law enforcement, including both myself and husband, who work in law enforcement as well. Our neighbors are friendly and you can usually see many of them out and about on the weekends when the weather is nice. We are right across the highway from our fairgrounds, so its always fun to see all the lights from the rides, or listen to the fireworks during 4th of July time. Our neighborhood also has lots of walkers so feel free to put your walking shoes on and enjoy the outdoors. We have a bus-line with a stop within a couple of miles from the house and have a city cab as well as well as Uber. We have a large family, but only 1 child still lives with us. We are super busy. Both my husband and I work in law enforcement. Between work, and shuffling our child to her multiple school and sporting events, we are rarely at home. When we are at home, we are still usually busy, fixing something, building something, cooking, sitting by the firepit, etc. But if we are at the house, we usually are all in bed by 9pm. Its not unusual for us to have friends or family over, during the week or on weekends. Sports is a big part of our life, so you can usually count on a baseball or football game playing in the living room. we also have 3 inside dogs. 2 are usually contained to one section of the house. Both are very friendly. One is out wherever she wants to be; which will end up in your lap if you let her. Her purpose is to welcome you to our home and become your best friend. If you aren't pet friendly, this isn't the house for you.
