This home is in the country on a pasture where you must pass through to reach river access, Mosquitoes here can occasionally be fierce during late spring to first frost. We have also become aware the tick population has increased since last year. Please be mindful of children, pets and clothing and always do a thorough check after activity in tall grasses and outdoors in general. Combing through thick fur and or using a lint roller on shorter haired animals can capture loose ticks before they latch on. Showering after activity can help remove them. Also placing your outdoor clothes into the dryer on high for a minimum of 20 mins will kill any hidden ticks as well. Please be prepared. Occasionally you will encounter mice, chipmunks, squirrels, coyotes, deer and seasonal pasture livestock. (Maybe even Sasquatch, then again maybe not.) During winter, snow can be high at times but that is perfect for snowshoeing, sledding and x-country skiing. Snowmobiles are never allowed. During dry hot summers, dusty areas exist near lodging space. Roads are well maintained by the county, so use your best judgment when traveling. Tyee means small salmon Frye, we do not allow fishing as a result. Absolutely No Hunting and No target shooting! including but not limited to air-soft, or paintball, no live ammunition or the like. There are often livestock animals and sometimes even Beneficiaries in the pasture. Neither want to be shot at. ~even if one of their siblings says it’s okay to do, it isn’t :-) Enter pasture and river access at your own risk. Do not feed animals. please keep gates secure at all times unless otherwise noted.
