Cosy Room - Great Location!
Description
The room available is cosy and well lit with the afternoon sun. It is private, fresh and comfy. There are many doors within the apartment allowing you to find a cosy space or two to escape if so inclined. It is not the open living floor plan many of us have become acquainted with. Located on the top floor (3rd). The back sun-room catches the morning sun and the front catches the sunset. Fan and heater provided in the room. The space The property sits proudly on a corner of Acland Street. The building is well known, charming, and older style that has been well cared for and updated over the years. The apartment is located on the 3rd level accessed via the staircase. The apartment is well lit with differing times of the sun throughout the day. The back of the apartment gets the morning sun and the front gets the afternoon sun. The building and back garden are fully secured and a nice place to sit on a hot day under the trees. There is a balcony at the back door with seating and table and allows access to the backyard below via the outdoor staircase. The location has free parking available on the opposite side of the street and down the next street. Permit parking is available for the household for an annual fee. This can be accessed on your behalf. The apartment is nestled in the heart of St Kilda~ a short walk to all the area is famous for and only one block from the beach and pier! Closest restaurant includes the Espy and the Prince of Wales. Coles and Safeway are on the same street 800 meters away. Trams into the city are accessed via Fitzroy street. The 96, 16 and 3/3a are frequent, every 12 minutes and only 250 meters away. Easy car access to the Western and Southern suburbs. Guest access The apartment is located on the top floor of the building being three flights up stairs and the shower is a step into over the bath lip so may not be suitable for people with hip conditions etc. You will have access to all communal spaces throughout the apartment. Feel free to whip together your favourite dishes in the kitchen and then wipe it down accordingly :) We ask that you are concious of conserving energy and turn lights off etc. when not in use or required. If your interested in the native flora and fauna we have two local possums that you can see up close and personal as they journey to and from their house. Also keep an eye out for the Rosellas and the Bats flying past. Feel free to potter or relax in the comfortable, communal though private garden. Also, If you go to St. Kilda Pier a little after dusk, you'll see the Fairy penguins swimming in at the end of the day and climbing the breakwater rocks into their nests. The St Kilda Breakwater protects the harbour and is a home/habitat to a colony of around 1200 Little Penguins! Other things to note I have a friendly cat named Heidi.
