Slate Mtn Cabin, Cozy and Comfy, near Mayberry

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Cozy Cabin with a breath taking front porch view. Private getaway from town but close if necessities are needed. Just 10 min from Mayberry. One queen size bed and comfortable leather couch in living area. The kitchen has limited ability for cooking, ie. No stove. I have microwave, toaster oven, griddle and of course keurig. Great place to unplug and renew. 2 night minimum please. Guests will check in to obtain directions and keys and meet Host. The space Slate Mountain cabin was established in 2020 as a labor of love. It was a tobacco barn that was remodeled to provide guests with a place to escape and rewind. It has a beautiful view from front porch of pond, but pond is not owned and neighbors request that no one enter their property. I respect this and my guests will need to respect this as well. Signage will be going up soon. Cabin does not have a stove but has microwave, griddle, waffle iron and toaster oven for your convenience, along with outdoor grill and firepit. Stairs to loft bedroom do not present a challenge to anyone without mobility issues, but please be aware if mobility issues exist. I want everyone to be safe and comfortable. Guest access I like for my guests to meet at my home in Mount Airy, 702 E Pine st so that I can meet you and give you further directions. If this is an issue, something else can be worked out. You just need to give me a head's up and we will work out another option to get you access to the cabin.
